How to Measure Yourself
Measuring yourself can be confusing, especially if you have never had to do this before today. Here are some steps to help you measure specific parts of your body.
--
Tools: a cloth measuring tape (I linked the ones I have), something to write down the numbers, possibly a buddy to help.
--
*Tip: always keep the tape flat against your body!
--
Bust: Wrap the tape around your back, under your arms and across the largest part of your bust. If you are large chest, this is easiest with a sports bra on as it will not add any extra padding or length to the measurement.
--
Underbust: Wrap the tape around your ribcage and under your bust.
--
Waist: Wrap the tape around the smallest part of your waist. If your torso does not have a smaller part, measure around 3" above your belly button. If you are squishy, you can pull a little tightly here as the bodice will squish you a few inches smaller!
--
Side & Front are only noted lengths of the bodices in those sizes. You are not meant to measure your side or front.
