How to Measure Yourself

Measuring yourself can be confusing, especially if you have never had to do this before today. Here are some steps to help you measure specific parts of your body.
--
TOOLS: a cloth measuring tape (I linked the ones I have), something to write down the numbers, possibly a buddy to help.
--
*Tip: always keep the tape flat against your body!
--
BUST: Wrap the tape around your back, under your arms and across the largest part of your bust. If you are large chested, this is easiest with a sports bra on as it will not add any extra padding or length to the measurement. Measure in your natural state and try not to squeeze the tape.
--
WAIST: Wrap the tape around the smallest part of your waist. If your torso does not have a smaller part, bend to the side. The part where your waist bends is where you should measure your waist. Measure in your natural state without tightening down. If you are squishy, you can take a second measurement by pulling a tightly here as the bodice will squish you a few inches smaller!
--
HIP: Wrap the tape around the widest part of your hips. You can find your hip bones and measure around that circumference of your body.
