Alehouse Custom Reversible Bodice

Customs will be available in time for the WA Ren Faire!
Custom options included:
1. Print choice on both sides. When you choose this listing, I will reach out to you within 24 business hours (M-F) to send you what fabrics I currently have in stock that are “Faire Safe”. You can pick two different fabrics. Bias tape color will be decided by The Dark Modiste based on prints chosen, what matches best, and what I have available.
2. Length add-on. Adding on 1-2" to the body and/or 1/2-1" to the straps.
3. Customized sizing should your measurements not place in the size chart.
What are bodices?
Bodices are often worn over clothing such as a chemise or dress which is why they are typically made in such decorative prints. In the renaissance period, the peasant class wore a simple bodice or kirtle over a chemise and skirts tucked under. Each are made with boning and meant to be strung tightly to support the back and lift the chest.
These can be used in so many ways, the top being worn on a visit to your next Ren Faire! I will throw one on with a blouse and jeans or skirt to make a modern outfit. There are many ideas and I would love to see yours!
Materials Used
Fabric: 100% cotton in all four layers (unless a different fabric is chosen). Bias edge is also 100% cotton.
Additional materials: spiral steel boning, coated metal grommets, cord for lacing.

Shipping is included within the continental US. Can ship outside of the US if buyer pays for shipping.
