Retail Drop
Small businesses, like The Dark Modiste, offer short runs of prints that are provided in small collections. Once they are out of stock, that print is gone. Slow fashion often does this in order to prevent overburdening the team (it is me and a few friends who help) and due to small batches of specific fabrics.
The Dark Modiste has moved to this style of offering in order to keep turn over of fun prints while providing all sizes in each round. We can also plan ahead easily, provide a time frame for our customers and allow our customers a preview of what is upcoming.
Drops will occur as often as we can muster and we will post the upcoming once they are planned right here and on social media!
We will still offer custom orders, but at a smaller amount in order to provide a consistent turn around and great experience!
Summer Drop - July TBD
Retail Drop
During the summer months, we have a high amount of events that we vend at. In order to keep inventory current, we will move it all off the site during the event, then transfer back what is available the Monday after.
We still plan to have our summer drop, though it won't be as large as spring to allow us time to prep for these events.
Customs
During each event, we will offer a small batch of custom spaces. These are only available at the event in-person. Once they are full, that is it. We will pause on offering online customs during our Summer retail drop and resume in the Fall.
Spring Drop - March 31st 9am PST
Bodices are offered in the prints you see. Most collections offer ALL sizes. Some prints are available in PREORDER stays. These will be filled within 3 weeks.
These will be showcased at Spring events and inventory will be updated the following week.
Customs spots are already filled for this online round. Further spots will be available at Spring and Summer in-person events.
